Table tennis is a indoor racquet sport. In this game the players stands facing each other on opposite edges of a table. The racquet used is the smallest among all the other racquet games. Ping-pong is another very common name used for table tennis. When the frame starts the serving player starts the game by making the ball to bounce first in its own court and then in the opponents court.

The opponent must then make a return—hit, back before the ball bounces a second time and not bouncing in his own half court. A point is allotted when the opponent is not able to hit the ball after one bounce or when the opponent is not able to make one bounce in our half court. In spite of such a small table, table tennis is also played in doubles.
