Basketball is a sport which requires a lot of running and jumping. Height is the main qualification for a basketball player.
It is a very fast game and points are scored very quickly in it.
The articles required for this game are basketball court, ball ring, basketball ball and two teams of 5 players each.

The backboard shall be a rectangle measuring 6' horizontally and 3 1 /2' vertically.
The front surface shall be flat and transparent.
A transparent backboard must be marked with a 2" white rectangle centered behind the ring.
This rectangle shall have outside dimensions of 24" horizontally and 18" vertically The balls pressure shall be approved by NBA.
In basketball different points are given for shots from different distances and locations of the court.
